Whether you live there, or you are just stopping by for a visit on your w ay to somewhere else, you will rarely be bored by the sights and the world happening around you. Without further introduction, let us introduce you to some of the fun things that you can do while here.

Six Flags

Considering the location of Six Flags, it can easily be found in a fun things to do near me search online. Six Flags is planted right in the middle of everything, making it easy to find.

It also gives you a nice reminder that when you don’t know what to do, there is a big amusement part right outside of your window. It’s fun for the kids, and it’s for for friends who are on a weekend getaway.

Hurricane Harbor

If the heat is getting the better of you, take some time off and enjoy this fun water park. Again, this is one of those fun things to do with kids, or you can hang out with your friends.

There is no age limit at a water park. As long as you bring enough sun screen to protect you and anyone you are traveling with so that the rest of your trip isn’t ruined due to sun burn, a water park can be a great relaxing day for you and the group.

Justice League: Battle for Metropolis

For the superhero fans in your life, this is a must see attraction. You can take the biggest DC fans in your life to the actual Justice League building. They can learn about their favorite heroes, and even see some cool props inside of the building.

The best part is that you can make this an extra stop if you go to Six Flags since the building is just right outside of the main area of the park.

Bowling museum & Hall of fame

This one might be more of an attraction for the adults on the group. You don’t have to be a big fan of bowling to enjoy the statues and history about the sport. This is a great stop if you have the parents or grandparents with you on your trip.

They will have an absolute blast learning all about the most famous bowling stars, and they will enjoy seeing the balls set up in a nice display case.

Blue Ops Mission

For the fans of escape rooms, this is the best one that you will find in Texas. The Blue Ops Mission is a fun and challenging escape room for anyone of all ages. You can bring your coworkers here, your friends, your family, your classmates, or just you and your kids.

You will be stuck in the room for hours trying to figure out the puzzles, and if you finish them in a certain amount of time, you can squeeze in another round to see if you remember all of the steps it took to escape in time.

Arlington Skatium

This is fun for the kids if they have never been rollerskating before, but it’s also a great experience for the adults even if you have been skating before. You can find food, skating shoes, a colorful atmosphere, and space to test out your true speed with wheels underneath you to guide you along the way.

If you have never been skating before, now is a great time to give it a shot. If the kids are worried about skating, they can practice in the carpet area until they get the hang of it. Out of everything on the list, this is great for those rainy days where you just want to hang out with your family or friends while trying something fun and relaxing.

There you have it. The best things that you can find and do in this part of the state. There is, of course, a lot of things that you can do. But these are good for those family and friend trips where you aren’t necessarily sure what you want to do.

If anything on this list peaks your interest, you can do a quick search on the topic and find out if that really is something that you want to try.
